Check out the research ongoing in these labs!
-
Advanced Science Research Center
The ASRC is a place where neuroscience meets nanoscience, structural biology, photonics and environmental sciences through scientific research and education.
-
BINA
BINA engages bioimaging scientists through creating a community that invites innovation and collaboration.
-
Ye He Lab
Through the use of advanced imaging techniques, including super-resolution live imaging, two-photon imaging, MALDI MS imaging and other interdisciplinary imaging tools, our team is committed to exploring dynamic changes at the cellular level and intact organisms, metabolism during development and disease, and functional interactions between nanomaterials and biological system.
-
UIijn Lab
Our lab is focused on the use of simple versions of the molecular building blocks of life to produce materials and systems with controllable structural, photonic, electronic, and biological properties. These properties open up wide-ranging applications in energy, biomedicine, environmental protection, food, cosmetics, and personal care
-
Casaccia Lab
Professor Patrizia Casaccia, M.D., Ph.D., and her team use molecular and cellular techniques to understand how glial cells acquire their identity and respond to external stimuli
-
Jan Lab
Research in our laboratory centers on the development and function of the nervous system. Current interests include the mechanisms of dendrite development, sensory physiology including mechano-sensing, axon and dendrite regeneration, the function and regulation of potassium and calcium activated chloride channels, and the contribution of dendritic morphogenesis and channel modulation to the assembly and plasticity of functional neuronal circuits.
